I helped Vermont Hempicurean craft a brand for their curated hemp goods store from the ground up. I began by creating their logo and establishing preliminary branding, and they wound up liking the finished product so much I was asked to work on their site design.

From the beginning, they knew that they wanted a logo that was modern but inspired by Victorian sensibilities. I went through several iterations that incorporated various embellishment elements before finally settling on a mandala-like border that complimented the bold logotype. I also created a horizontal layout with a slightly more Art Nouveau expression for use as an alternate.
Visual Design
The Vermont Hempicurean site needed to focus on their e-commerce selection, as well as drawing visitors into their brick and mortar storefront. I continued to work with the Victorian aesthetic to an extent on the site, pulling in elements such as a subtle, engraved background texture.
