A4TD is a training and resource network for workers seeking to improve their skills for better placement opportunities. They operate three flagship programs, two of which had not officially launched yet, and had just secured funding to redesign their site for the first time in over six years.

Aside from reorganizing their legacy information architecture to be cleaner and more intuitive, my primary goal was to improve their conversion quality for program applicants. Through restructuring and gating portions of the application funnel, it was possible to automatically filter many of the unqualified applicants who had been slipping through to review. Revising A4TD's application funnel freed up their small office team to spend less time reviewing dead-end applications.
In addition to their site, I designed several print items for A4TD, including a brochure and several posters. I created new typographies, palettes and a custom icon kit to freshen their visual style a bit as part of the project, avoiding the need to do a full-on rebrand.
